Dr. Candace Autin

Dr. Autin has been with River Ridge Veterinary Clinic since 2020. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science in 2009 from the University of Louisiana Lafayette and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2014.

Her special interests in veterinary medicine include internal medicine cases, clinical pathology, and dermatology. She is a member of the Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association (LVMA) and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).

Dr. Autin and her husband, Jonathan, married in 2012; they have two daughters, Cecilia, and Lillian. Their pet family includes Greta, a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon and Kevin, a tripod kitty. During her free time, Dr. Autin is involved in her kids’ school, and she enjoys baking, crafting, and being a beach bum.
